SOCIAL EQUALITY Aristippus' special collection

Be on equal footing with other people and avoid emphasizing differences in social status.

The ability to be on an equal footing with others prompts fair actions that are consistent with the laws of the state and the rights of people.

One’s behavior and actions should not force others to do things and should not emphasize the difference in social status.  It is important for every person to cooperate on an equal footing and achieve understanding. Important principles of building successful relationships — having respect for business partners and the willingness to reach an agreement regardless of the social status and the level of wealth.
